Studies

HiST offers study programmes in the following subject areas: Business and Administration, Health and Social Work, Teacher Education, Interpreter for the Deaf, Technology and Engineering. In addition we provide a wide range of continuing professional education courses, including distance learning, organised in seven Faculties . A characteristic feature of most of the programmes of study is a practical and career related academic education, qualifying for entrance to a multitude of professions in industry, commerce and public administration and services.   

In all our degree programmes, the language of instruction is Norwegian, but we are offering some English courses for exchange students.
